2026-2027 Academic Year Compulsory English Preparatory Class Program Exam Guide for Proficiency (Exemption) and Placement Tests for Students Enrolled via Additional Placement and Students Returning Under the Amnesty Law

Dear Students,

The Proficiency (Exemption) Exam and Placement Test (STS) for our students who enrolled in our university via Additional Placement in the 2026-2027 Academic Year and are subject to the compulsory English Preparatory Program, as well as students who returned to education under the Amnesty Law, will be held on Tuesday, October 13, 2026.

Please pay attention to the following matters:

• The Proficiency (Exemption) Exam is optional. Students who believe their English level is sufficient to be exempt from the preparatory program may take this exam.

• The Placement Test (STS) is COMPULSORY. Regardless of whether you take the Proficiency Exam or not, all students subject to the preparatory program must take the STS. Your level and section in the preparatory program will be determined according to your STS result.

Exam times, venues, exam content, and rules to follow are specified in detail in the attached exam guide. We kindly request that you read the exam guide carefully and arrive at the exams on time.
