2026-2027 Academic Year Fall Semester Academic Board Meeting

Bandırma Onyedi Eylül University School of Foreign Languages 2026-2027 Academic Year Fall Semester Academic Board Meeting was held on September 9, 2026, with the participation of all our academic staff.

Beginning with opening remarks by the Director of ourSchool, Lecturer Türkan Yılmaz, goals and expectations for the new academic year were shared, along with wishes for a successful semester. Subsequently, Vice Director of the School, Lecturer F. İrem Ocaktan Kurgan, presented information on ÜBYS (University Information Management System) processes, sharing details regarding system updates as well as course and grading procedures for the start of the term.

Following this, Head of the Foreign Languages Department, Lecturer Cansu Dinç Ayaz, highlighted important academic matters concerning the fall semester, emphasizing key points to consider regarding course execution and professional development processes during the term. Finally, Lecturer Blen G. Jaletta presented an introduction to the Professional Development Unit, providing information about the training and workshop activities planned throughout the year to support the academic and professional development of our faculty.

Upon completion of the sessions, School Director Lecturer Türkan Yılmaz presented certificates of appreciation to all our academic staff for their dedicated work and efforts throughout the past academic year. The program concluded with a Semester Kickoff Potluck, organized to make an enjoyable and dynamic start to the new term.
