The End-of-Year Meeting with Our External Stakeholders

The end-of-year meeting for the 2025–2026 Academic Year was held online on July 7, 2026, chaired by our Director, Lecturer Türkan Yılmaz, with the participation of our Assistant Directors Lecturer Dr. Burcu Karadaş and Lecturer F. İrem Ocaktan Kurgan, our Department Head Lecturer Cansu Dinç Ayaz, our School Secretary Cihad Aydın, and our Unit Advisory Board members: Dr. Merve Selçuk (Bilgi University, Director of Preparatory Programs), İsmail Güzsoy (Bandırma District Acting Director of Youth and Sports), and Mürsel Sabancı (Corporate Communications Director of Balıkesir YDS Academy).

During the meeting, our board members were briefed in detail on the educational and instructional activities of our vocational school for the 2025–2026 Academic Year. An overall evaluation of the term was conducted by gathering feedback from our stakeholders regarding educational processes, course content, program outcomes, and assessment/evaluation procedures. Additionally, regulations, directives, and application guidelines were evaluated in terms of the expectations of our external stakeholders. Opportunities regarding quality assurance, continuous improvement, and university-industry collaborations were also discussed.

The meeting, where preliminary planning for potential joint activities with external stakeholders for the upcoming academic year was also discussed, concluded with the sharing of recommendations and well wishes for the 2026–2027 academic year. We would like to thank our board members for their ongoing support and contributions to our vocational school.
