The End-of-Year Meeting with Our Internal Stakeholders

The end-of-year meeting for the 2025–2026 Academic Year was held online on July 8, 2026, chaired by our Director, Lecturer Türkan Yılmaz, with the participation of our Assistant Directors Lecturer Dr. Burcu Karadaş and Lecturer F. İrem Ocaktan Kurgan, our Department Head Lecturer Cansu Dinç Ayaz, our School Secretary Cihad Aydın, faculty member of our university's Business Administration (English) Department Prof. Dr. Aybeniz Ar, faculty member of the Department of Translation and Interpretation Assoc. Prof. Dr. Caner Çetiner, faculty member of the Economics (English) Department Assoc. Prof. Dr. Evren İpek, faculty member of Maritime Transportation and Management Engineering Asst. Prof. Dr. Ramazan Yıldız, and IT Department staff member Muammer Danacı.

During the meeting, our stakeholders were briefed in detail regarding the educational and instructional processes conducted in our unit during the 2025–2026 academic year. The views of our stakeholders regarding course schedules, material usage, and assessment/evaluation processes were gathered, and student feedback was evaluated together. Additionally, our stakeholders were informed about quality and accreditation efforts, and feedback and suggestions were received from the participants.

The meeting—where the views of stakeholders regarding the 2026–2027 academic year were also obtained—conveyed the planning for the 2026–2027 academic year and included the opinions and recommendations of the attendees. After emphasizing that such meetings are beneficial for strengthening inter-departmental communication and collaboration, the meeting concluded with good wishes and warm regards.
