A Step Toward Collaboration in English Education Between BANU SFL and Yaman Egeli Secondary School

Our School of Foreign Languages has taken the initial step toward a visionary project that will bring secondary school students and university youth together on a common linguistic ground. Our management team, consisting of the Director of the School of Foreign Languages (SFL), Instructor Türkan YILMAZ, and Assistant Directors, Instructor Dr. Burcu KARADAŞ and Instructor Fatma İrem OCAKTAN KURGAN, paid a visit to Yaman Egeli Secondary School.

During the visit, which was hosted by the Principal of Yaman Egeli Secondary School, Ebru YILDIZ ALTAN, the Head of the English Department, Betül AŞIK, and the department's teachers, prospective project collaborations to be implemented between the two institutions were thoroughly discussed. A productive brainstorming session was held on upcoming English language projects to be co-executed by our compulsory English Preparatory Class students and the students of Yaman Egeli Secondary School.
