The Academic Advising System in the Preparatory Department

An academic advising system is implemented within our Department to closely monitor students' academic success, course performance, and adaptation processes to the university. Within the scope of this system, an academic advisor is assigned to each class, aiming to provide support for both the academic and personal development of the students. Throughout the semester, academic advisors will monitor students' academic achievement, offer necessary guidance, and provide mentorship during their adaptation to university life. This monitoring process is maintained closely through one-on-one meetings during designated student office hours, thereby supporting our students in achieving their goals. Our primary duties include assisting students in planning their education, guiding them in academic, social, and cultural matters, and helping create an appropriate environment for the holistic development of their personality across intellectual, social, and emotional dimensions. Furthermore, we are responsible for holding student consultations on designated days, providing necessary assistance, and offering guidance and mentorship in accordance with the objectives and fundamental principles stipulated in laws and regulations.
