Accreditation and Next-Generation Material Training at BANU SFL

The School of Foreign Languages (SFL) at Bandırma Onyedi Eylül University hosted representatives from UES Publishing. A comprehensive training session was conducted for the compulsory English Preparatory Class teaching staff, with the in-person participation of Ms. Tülay Ustaoğlu and the online participation of Ms. Duygu Özler. During the session, the EAQUALS accreditation process—an international quality standard in language education—along with the significance of student surveys, the currency of documentation, and the one-year audit timeline were thoroughly detailed.

In the material presentation segment of the training, Macmillan Education’s Elements and Skillful 3rd Edition textbooks were introduced. The highlighted features included downloadable multimedia content, adjustable-speed videos, gamified "Challenge" tools supporting autonomous learning, academic skills development, and specialized Harvard Business Review sections. It was noted that demo accounts will shortly be defined for the teaching staff to test these systems. BANU SFL steadily continues its operations guided by a vision of education at global standards.
